Fair Share Act

We've been spongin off the job creators long enough! Don't take a genius to see that the reason we're in trouble is on account of the rich folk been payin waaaay too much compared to the middle class and poor folk. The problem is, people are payin taxes by percentage, so the more you earn, THE MORE YOU PAY! What's fair about that? Why can't our hard workin job creators keep all the money they earn? Well, there's a few things need payin, like the army and fire department and such, and them things cost money. So we gotta have some taxes.

But don't it seem only fair that we ought to all be payin our own way? Why should the job creators be payin for our share? We need to all pay our Fair Share. Let's do a little figurin. The annual budget of the United States is 3.83 trillion this year, and we got over 300 million folks livin here. Let's round it off a little to make the figurin easy. Let's say the budget is 4 trillion and we got 300 million folk. That means each and every one of us ought to pony up about $13,333 a year. And that's just to pay for what we're gettin, nothin at all on the interest. Now, the interest is about four times that, so if we want to get us a balanced budget, we're gonna have to pay that off and stop havin a deficit. But that's another story.

So, just for starters, Tater's sayin we all gotta start payin about $14,000 a year in taxes each, just to make it fair for the job creators. Once we pass the Fair Share Act, we can get on to the Pay it Down proposal, addin about $24,000 a piece a year for the next 10 years to pay down the debt and balance the budget. Tater's countin on you all to support him in this important legislation. We'll get this country back on track, but not on the backs of our most important citizens, the rich and connected, the job creators, the ones we owe all this to!
